Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Amaarae, caused quite a stir on social media after she exposed her bare chest during a performance with Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage. The performance took place at the Born In Africa Festival in Lagos, Nigeria, and has since gone viral on social media.
In a video that has been circulating online, Amaarae can be seen performing on stage with Tiwa Savage, wearing a see-through top that exposed her bare chest. The crowd went wild as she danced and sang along with Tiwa Savage.
While some fans praised Amaarae for her bold and daring performance, others criticized her for what they perceived as indecent exposure. However, Amaarae has since defended her actions, stating that she was simply expressing herself and her art.
“I am an artist, and part of being an artist is expressing yourself in different ways,” Amaarae said in a statement. “I wanted to do something bold and daring, and I felt that this was the perfect opportunity to do so. I understand that some people may not agree with my decision, but I hope that they can respect my right to express myself in this way.”
