Popular Nigerian comedian Sabinus in a latest post on social media expresses utmost displeasure as Nigerians kickstart raising money for transgender Jay Boogie.
Taking to the insta-stories section of his verified Instagram page today, November 18th 2023, Sabinus refers to the latest development as a disadvantage of social media.
Nigerian transgender Jay Boogie whose real name is Daniel Anthony Nsikan has been one of the trending conversations online following his failed BBL surgery that resulted in critical condition.
The solicitation of help by Jay Boogie has stirred mixed reactions online, while some said they will never contribute because he is transgender, others said they will help him.
As Nigerians started raising money for Jay Boogie, this did not sit down well with Sabinus as he asserted that the disadvantages of social media are now more than the advantages.
He found the donation as something wrong stating that social media has really given avenue to so many things.
He noted that there are lot of people living on the mainland and have not eaten for the past 3 days struggling with their lives, but people are on social media raising money for transgender Jay Boogie who has turned from a male to a female.
Sabinus wrote; “Tomorrow I go comot my gbola to put Pussy den if the thing go wrong I go come de shout for Nigerians to help me Social media has really given avenue to many things
Go to the mainland see family wey never chop food for 3 days and they are still managing life D disadvantage of social media don de pass the advantage I remember when children fear parents unless most characters won’t be allowed in a country like this that doesn’t support such !!! They go still insult me but e no de cause debit alert.”
